Let’s talk about a recent situation involving two famous singers who can’t stand each other!

We’ve told you before that in order to score a big public gig like the Super Bowl, this singer really needs an anthem. We’re talking about a big song that stirs the emotions and invokes concepts like winning or victory or overcoming adversity.

Well, she blew it again! She was one of several singers in competition for a song for a major sporting event, but she just couldn’t rise to the occasion an come up with a song that would work.

Don’t bother asking her about it, though. She will never, ever admit that she was even approached for the gig. After all, losing is just not a word that she wants associated with her or her work!

Perhaps she could take some solace in that she was not the only person who lost out on this one? Several musicians – both male and female – were asked to come up with a song for the event.

However, she is definitely the one who feels most burned by the winner! That’s right. Losing is bad, but losing to Winner – the person with whom our singer has so much bad blood – was just infuriating!

We’ll see if our singer has better luck when competing for the next big sporting event.

Yeah, when you get a radio deal you're suppose to be getting strong updates the following days too if it's gonna really take off on radio. This is gonna from go from 15M audience on it's first day, to like a <2M audience update on it's second day. Radio has already strayed away from the song.

Z100 has played it 0 times thus far today, just like they did with Pretty Girls 2nd day.

No, an average song is doing better after a radio deal like this.

This song got 15M audience first day. Now it's barely getting more spins 2nd day than Rise, which got 3M audience first day. So it's 2nd day will be like... 2M audience, following 15M the first day?

If your song is taking off on radio it's gonna have good updates the entire first week, even after the first day.

Don't act like this is the first time happens or that it means the end of a song. I've been following mediabase/radio deals ever since Circus. It literally happens all the TIME. However if that logic makes you feel much better than good for you.
