Both of the songs released last night are so boring, basic, and formulaic. I can't wait for Gaga to come out with something totally different (because she's an artist and can do that). She's gonna snatch us all.

Talking about how Gaga is/will be better than recent releases just shows that you're pressed about said releases. Lady Gaga is not immune to making bad pop music. She can make something just as "bad" as Make Me/Rise. In my personal opinion, she's made worse.

CHARTDROP was a fluke. All her other releases have been flawless.

'Rise' and 'Make Me' are boring and formulaic. 'Rise' in particular as it was produced by the always-predictable-and-formulaic Max Martin. Both songs literally sound like a record label was like, "let's make sure these songs are as trendy and GP-friendly as they can be".

My statement is predicted by the fact that Gaga is working with an entirely new team (sans DJWS) of producers which basically means she's going to deliver something new to her, unlike what Katy and Britney did.

Listening to 'Rise' and 'Make Me' just got me excited for Gaga's return because I find those tracks so pedestrian. They reminded me of why I stan for Gaga and the potential she has to deliver brilliant music and surprise/entertain me.

Both Make Me and Rise are amazing pop songs and anyone who says otherwise is clearly threatened. Britney went #1 on itunes, something our fave's last lead single failed to achieve and Rise is just a standard Katy Perry. It's doing amazing and shows she's a force to be reckoned with.

Both girlies did a pretty good job. Britney actually sounds human in her song and the song is really easy on the ears. Rise is an anthem. Give credit where credit is due and move on.

Gaga is a better vocalist but let's not pretend like ARTPOP had better material (sans its title track and DWUW) than these releases y'all are so eager to drag.
