While I love katara in TLA, she really was a useless BITCH in Korra. Despite being old (like Hama), she could have been far more abrasive and fought alongside her kids

In TLA she was one of the fastest developing waterbenders in the world, and they left her a sitting duck that just smiles in TLOK

Just another thing wrong with the show. Still luv her though (and the user is great )

Sokkas role in the whole show was providing comic relief and even then he was an annoying twat. Glad he was already ROTTING when Korra became avatar

I agree, the whole "we gotta let the kids prove themselves" or whatever ******** excuse they gave for not joining the fight was lame. Like if you're threatened with the end of the world, it's unlikely that Zuko and Katara wouldn't join the fight.
