I'm gonna be honest..

When I read that Katy released a new song, I was hyped and went straight to Apple Music. The promo art looked cool. The name "Rise" sounded dumb and I was expecting "Roar" rehash. Like, self-empowerment anthem as lead single AGAIN?

But then I listened and lyrically it may be similar to Roar, but sonically it's totally different. I don't like it very much but I give her props for trying something different
