All Abrahamic religions are violent though, and the lack of nuance about that is what causes these issues. Why are you acting as though Christianity doesn't have a history of genocide to its name, the burning alive of gay people, the stoning and raping of women, as well?
The main dichotomy to this is that most Christian societies or empires ended up becoming major forces, going through things like Agricultural Revolutions and/or Industrial Revolutions (much of this progression due to these countries utilizing slaves as a means of colonialism for the first time, colonizing other countries/empires). We see that when countries progress and modernize, religion becomes more secular - as in, beliefs are relaxed.
Much of the Middle East in the 60s and 70s was much different than it is now, but imperialism (and not just American - Russian imperialism is also an issue) and war has changed that landscape. War does inspire radicalization and we have to work out how to figure this out and confront terrorism without invoking more terrorism. Capitalism is a driving force, as most of these powers around the rule are acting in interest of money, with all of them having different interests, with the people of the world suffering for what their greed will inspire (war, radicalization, terror, etc.).
