I went out catching Pokémon in the park with my mom this afternoon.
Pretty sure she's gonna download it as soon as it's officially out in our App Store
I feel like Pokemon Go rather enforces a kind of community spirit rather than enforcing socially awkward situation. At least in my hometown, I randomly started chatting with a bunch of strangers, which is really funny to be honest. Pokemon hasn't been this "cool" and trendy since 1998.
Pokemon is truly the Beyonce of its generation, reaching its peak 20 years into its existence. What a queen!
How are Pokestops decided? There's a grammar mistake in my nearest one so they were obviously added by regular people rather than professionals.
I want to add a landmark over my house
apparently they were taken from another game made by the company and google maps, it would be impossible for them to manually add all the gyms and pokestops
This is like the one time you should embrace loving Pokemon publicly before the hype dies down. I've been out with my friend wearing his Pokemon hat and stuff running yelling about a nearby Dratini.
I really wish there were more Pokestops near my house though.. or at least one. And a gym. There's nothing here but Jigglypuff.
Not embarrassed when every age group is playing it dd. I went to a couple bars last weekend and there were a bunch of people on their phones playing Pokemon and socializing while they were drinking. I don't think any game franchise has had this much impact on all age groups as this has
I'm pressed. My parents were going around for some errands just now so I went in the car too. Not only was my dad driving so fast, I could hardly spin any stops - PS, there must have been like 150+ pokestops in the centre of town - but I missed a few encounters too. And then a SQUIRTLE popped up in nearby and later disappeared. I was fuming.
And on the way back, the server died. Can the Americans not. It always works fine all day and then dies when they come online. GTFO. I almost lost a Gastly
GO is literally serving biggest game ever teas. It's a fad for sure but with more game features and big companies like McDonald and Starbucks cashing in, this could remain huge for a month or so.

I feel you, in the car with my mum a Hitmonlee appeared, I was fuming and almost made mum stop the car but it disappeared.
