Well....
1. I'm not sure if I have a clearly defined goal. Nor am I exactly sure if I can be motivated, which is why I am considering using a trainer for a while... Basically, I just want to bulk up.
2. I'm nervous about pulling a muscle the first time, because I have a tendency to go overboard. if i can lift a 5 Kg dumbbell, I will probably try a 20 kg the same day too. It's an old annoying habit I can't life easily.
3. I'm also nervous about my diet change, because while I don't over eat, I eat very randomly. I'm not sure if I can be consstent.

Well, create a realistic goal of how you want your body to look. Like, what do you want to change, and then find which machines will help you achieve that goal.
For me, I like to stay really lean, so I do a lot of cardio. Then I want to tone my shoulders and pecs a bit, so I do the shoulder press machine.
Just find a routine you like, and stick to it. You can do different routines on different days, if you want to focus on different areas, too.

Thank you for the tips! yeah I will try to start off small. I have a tendency of over aiming and making really unrealistic plans, and that does a lot of harm to me.

i just joined a gym saturday omg.
the best thing to do is to look up reviews and if your head is telling you to go for it, then go for it. just make sure its a gym thats known for having good equipment, workers, etc. i was wary because i heard messy things about Planet Fitness but i went to this one thats like 20 something minutes away from my house and its seriously great. everybody is nice, friendly, and its just chill.
just do some bit of research and then once your sure, go there and see where their talking about. as for working out, im still trying to find that out myself lol. ive just been going on every machine there tbh

Haha I see! Yeah I've done some research about this gym and I'm happy with most things. I hope this gym is like yours!
Lastly, I'm also a bit paranoid and I feel people will judge me

Like, look at the slightly lanky dude over there struggling with the weights
