Is there anything Tree could do? Taylor right now is being bashed for dating and mentioning a song writing credit. Tree is probably being paid very well but it hard to stop people from talking about her dating life....unless she forces Taylor to stop dating, and she cannot do that. Only thing Taylor can do is do what she wants to do. This is why I believe her relationship with Tom is the real deal. No way would they enter a PR dating relationship with the way the haters go after her for dating. They did put out a statement saying the relationship was real, so they cannot do anything more then that. Haters are going to believe what they want to and right now they are on a high for her. It is weird.

I have to disagree. This is no worse than the backlash she got during Red with her boyfriend controversy. Taylor's smart enough to know what's good for her career. She'll just use this to her advantage. I don't know why you're all doubting her when TS6 is going to be huge

Believe me, we're the first people to admit when Taylor's done something wrong. There's been plenty of times when we've criticised her or not agreed to the things she's done. We are aware she's not perfect. What we don't understand is how come this particular instance caused such a massive reaction when she hasn't even done anything wrong but admitted she co-wrote the song (which a lot of people speculated anyway). She has not said one bad thing about Calvin since the break up, (actually said nothing about him and all) and he's the one throwing a tantrum on Twitter. And it's obvious he brought up Katy to deflect the situation towards Taylor even more and have more people target her. So immature and petty. Like, it boggles the mind

There's no wrongdoing. Her name is on everyone's tongues, even when she's inactive. this isn't some donut-sized "I Hate America" backlash. taylor's getting the PR.

She is a 26 year old woman who is being bashed for dating and mentioning a songwriting credit. I fail to see what is so bad about that. She mentioned the Song writing credit because Ex was trying to claim the break up was because of her cheating. Simple as that.

gosh, I don't even know why I bother reading those threads. Like, Lord is not a saint, but the way they twist everything to make her look like an awful human being just because they HATE her is ridiculous. I still don't see this "expose!!!11" they are talking about

Could you please elaborate on that? Because I don't know what's so wrong about taking credit for your own work? Everyone already knew that it was her writing and singing weeks ago. There's no point in keeping it a secret when people don't stop speculating about it.

None of us denied the fact that BB was about Katy, so I don't know what the hell that user was on about

Taylor couldn't have been more clear that the album was about freedom and individuality

What you are failing to understand is that Calvin simply used Katy's name as bait and she took it. It does not prove that Taylor has had a second thought about Katy since bad blood was released well over a year ago. She is too busy traveling with Tom to be thinking about Katy Perry. The song and Grammy were enough reward.

You do realize that Taylor hasn't been online in over two months and hasn't mentioned or shaded Katy in forever? Calvin is not Taylor and him using her name doesn't mean that Taylor talked to him about her. It only shows that he can't handle things like an actual adult. I don't see where you get the idea that Taylor is obsessed with Katy.
