Who said anything about Haechan? Didn't say anything about their rap. That's where legend Mark steps in. Haechan has a good enough voice. Fire truck isn't really the kind of song to showcase your voice on.

Jaehyun does not outshine him. Hes average at best. Doyoung and Taeil are MUCH better vocalists as shown in the video i linked Blue above.

It occurs to me that Taeil, Doyoung, and Jaehyun are probably the strongest vocal line in a boy idol group (if you count all of NCT as one group) currently and maybe in general. Their only competition is other SM groups - Chen/Baekhyun/DO, Jonghyun/Taemin/Onew, and an imaginary composite version of DBSK with post-breakup-level Changmin/Junsu/Jaejoong.

I honestly don't know how SM does it.
