No SC would repeal gay marriage. Not only will that cause too much problems, but it's unethical to go back on the words of the previous judges who officially ruled it constitutional. Even if Trump won, conservatives probably wouldn't get a majority until the end of the 2nd term. Majority of the country is fine with gay marriage, and that will only increase in the next decade.

But yes the Equality Act must be passed. We just need the Congress back.

It makes sense. He's has experience in foreign policy and the economy serving in numerous positions. He is from a safe state so he'll be replaced with another Democratic senator. He has worked with Clinton before, and he can bring balance to her campaign because he is a reasonable, calm guy. If Trump does pick a VP with a lot of experience and is a good debater, then Kaine would be a good choice.

But Tom Perez is a good choice too. He's progressive, has served under the Department of Justice and is now the Secretary of Labor so he can get those union workers on her side.

A right wing SC would easily overrule that opinion and that Jewish female judge (I don't know her name) is very old her replacement would be during the 1st term.. And she is a leftist.. That's 2 vacant seats during the 1st term and popular opinion doesn't matter with the Supreme Court

It was a moderate who almost always side with Republicans that broke the tie on gay marriage. Gay marriage is the law of the land. Trust me when I say that will not happen, especially in a decade from now when millions of LGBT would have already been married.

That's like a SC going back and saying Brown v Education is unconstitutional. It would never happen. But yes we do need a law to secure it, but even that law could be replaced. This country is too divided for a majority anything for too long imo so everything is always at risk.

Crime was very high going into the 90s. The crime bill was a necessary step to try to lower that rate, and it was effective. Targeting black people just had unintended consequences. Bernie supported that bill as well. It's not as black and white as we would like to think today.
