At the end of the day, the loss of life is a tragedy, black or white.

What members here are failing to understand is that the death of the police officers today was an unjustifiable result of a consistent failure to properly prosecute white police officers who murder black US citizens.

Whilst todays killings are wrong, they wouldn't have happened if the US police force wasn't so complicit to racially driven murder.

What's especially sad about this is that this kind of thing will be forgotten, will happen again and the cycle will continue. If America didn't react to a school shooting which killed 20(?)+ people, or the gay club shooting which killed 50+ people, or daily/weekly shootings of innocent black people, and most likely won't do that much to this, it's gonna be a LONG time before anything gets done. Decades even.

FOH. They've been killing blacks for centuries..since the Constitution deigned them PROPERTY...not even citizens.

I'm not suggesting violence, but I'm not going to criticise the US citizens that are in the streets living this life of fear. I'm not American so have never experienced it so I cannot say how I would react to watching y fellow citizens be gunned down on a daily basis for 'breathing while black'.

The shooting of police today is basically like throwing a match on a wildfire. Using it to discredit or express your (subtly racist) frustrations with the #BLM movement is just exposing yourself as ignorant.
