Y'all are so cringeworthy. "Black on black crime" is a myth created to divert attention from paid public officials overstepping in their roles. Most crimes that happens, happens within a race. More Asians kill Asians and so on. It's just intra-racial crime. It's not some black phenomenon that needs to be investigated.

One of the risks of signing up to be a police officer is that you could be putting yourself in danger. Black people didn't sign up for being targets by police with an axe to grind. Black on black crime is motivated by personal reasons. That's not something that can be controlled. Cops on black crime is something that's related to a prejudiced system that's actually supposed to protect black folks. That's why black on black crime cannot be given the same spotlight.

I don't hate things but I HATE that people don't know how to channel their anger/frustation properly and impact so many lives because of it.

This should never be tolerable and I'm afraid we are going to end up getting to the point of expecting something like this on a daily basis.

Hate will keep being spread, guns will keep being accessible to anyone and nothing will change that. The people leading are benefiting from this status quo, I can tell you that we are leading towards darker days. Things will only worsen; anger will grow within the people and the division will be stronger because nothing constructive will come from that anger and frustration and on top of that everyone can own automatic weapons. What a great mix, this is how smart us human beings are. But since we are so used to it, the status-quo will remains and every few weeks we will be shocked and then forget and so on(who still think about that mass shooting in a club? We are over it already and waiting for the next one).

What I don't understand is why retaliate against cops in Dallas who had absolutely nothing to do with the recent shootings in Fresno and Louisiana. I hate how corrupted some police departments are (ones that aren't doing **** about the senseless murders; Fresno and Louisiana in particular) but that doesn't excuse the anti-police attitudes to the rest of the genuinely good cops.

All this does is set us back decades in progression.

Give me a tucking break. Crime can be controlled, but it takes a lot of change within the community or society to do so. Gang violence is definitely a huge part of it.

Is it something that can be controlled by the government? Especially considering gangs get their weapons most of the time illegally. And gang violence isn't the only way. Family members, friends, married folks etc. kill each other all the time and chances that's gonna fall under the category of black on black crime many times when it's not racially motivated like cops on black crime. Either way, it's not the issue that should be discussed right now

Like I don't get the disconnect of how killing police officers who have nothing to do with killing of black Americans justify some police officers killing black Americans. At the very least target the officers involved. I just don't understand how anyone would say that this was a right thing to do and will make the situation better.

Yes, better education more programs to get individuals out of poverty, etc. There are many things the govt can do as well as society.
