It's especially insane considering they've carried out plenty of protests for years now without sacrificing officer lives. This is all so horrible and so wrong.

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that you shouldn't criticize those people at all so I hope that isn't the impression I gave. I just mean't that the shooters should be the ones gaining the most ire in this situation because they just made the police brutality issue much more difficult to overcome.
