It's not that it isn't the best time to release. It's just that it's usually the most congested time of the year. Lots of chances for her to get lost in the flow of upcoming giant winter releases. I don't think she will get passed on, but you never know.

TBH she was never a HUGE one week album seller, she was consistently getting good sales week after week. The BTW debut week truly spoiled us

As long as she's able to snatch one week @ #1 it's ok I guess.

Hope she doesn't release the same week or a week after JT or somebody like that

See that's the thing. A lot of those big artists tend to release the week before Black Friday and it gets messy or they release the week OF black friday which is worse. So she may miss out on Number 1 if say an artist like Bruno Mars or Eminem releases that week.

But you're right, BTW truly spoiled us. TFM had longevity and eventually sold throughout the year becoming one of the best selling albums of the following year it was released. So it's not too bad if she doesn't make a big first week sale.

Yeah, neither did The Fame or The Fame Monster made it to #1 but they literally spent an entire lifetime inside the Top 10.

At least 1 week @ #1 + the album not dropping out of the Top 10 in like a month would be great. We will see how she does with streaming, we still don't know how a Gaga era will do in the streaming era.

I'm actually hoping for a 200k+ debut pure sales, maybe I'm still deluded & should lower to 150k or something like that

I never really count TF because it was released already before people knew about her, but you're right they weren't number 1, but have sold more than any of her albums.
