I agree with ivi. Artpop did not do well simply because the music was not relatable and good and basically it is not an album you would listen to regularly. If Gags releases a good and relatable song that clicks with the GP I am sure that people will invest in her again. Good music will fix it all. If Bieber can do it() Lady ****ing Gaga can do it too.

Hands should not be seen as representation of LG5 since:

a) Gaga had no hand in it (no pun intended).
b) It was clearly a rushed project.
c) The song had to be written very vanilla so a range of different voices could approach it.

Anyway, I'm here for the VMAs rumour. Come through 2013 2.0. Let's remember though there's less chance of her being overshadowed ala Miley since everyone is going toned down and **** still. I think the only people that could upstage her if they perform is Bey (but she's in a different lane), Britney (doubt she'll perform but a 'comeback' of hers IF done well would be big news) and Fergie (IF M.I.L.F. $ becomes a huge viral smash).

The same boring and not correct arguments repeated by you sis are not even semi interesting anymore. ARTPOP did how it did beacuse of the mess surrounding it. Applause was a hit single despite its lyrics. DWUW - we all know what happened. It was indeed a smash in the making. There were other hit worthy songs, like Gypsy or Sexxx Dreams. If only...
