Seriously, the first half of the year is already behind us and we got NO expansion pack and just 1 game pack. The next EP better be big. I'd be really disappointed if we didn't get an EP between Aug and September. I doubt that we will.

They have changed A LOT of the game code, and it wouldn't have been for nothing.
They are reworking the game so much, it cannot be all for nothing.
Well it's outsold the Sims 2 so I'd say there's hype
Wow. I honestly didn't expect that. There's a big difference between the hype for The Sims 3 and for The Sims 4. The release of Sims 4 seems like a non-event.
And it looks lame as hell, probably "Pool Stuff" or "Beach Stuff"
