I really don't see LG5 spawning a single that'll outsell Applause or the record pulling ARTPOP numbers. Y'all really need to adjust your success expectations because it isn't happening. I've said this before but the sales climate and music landscape in general is so far removed from the last time she dropped pop music. 9 week Rihanna x Drake #1s won't even see 2M in sales. And she isn't a streaming force so God help her. Just concentrate on great music, flawless visuals, interesting performances and proper execution like the old days

What annoys me the most is that they don't even spend as much time talking about their own fave. Like you think that a great way to "get at Gaga" for whatever personal vendetta you have against her is to put your in your avatar, signature, title simultaneously and post almost exclusively about her? Sure it annoys some Monsters, but what do they even get out of what they're doing? It's been 3 years and they'll still cream themselves at any chance to mention August 2013 even when most of their faves can't perform better. Like, what do Swag and Anticipating tell people their hobbies are when they're striking up convo at a party?

I kinda want Katy and Gaga to release closely again but I want them both to deliver and equally slay. I only say this because pop culture has been so boring lately and the new gen pop girls (Ari, Selena, Demi and Meghan) just aren't interesting enough. Even staples like Bey, Rih and Adele have just been a bit of a bore to me.

Some dual slayage would be great. It happened in 2011 with TD/BTW, a lot of people forget that because of Roar/Applause. In fact pretty much all of their eras have coincided and PRISM/ARTPOP was the only one which they didn't both slay, and I put that totally down to the music. We know Gaga's gonna deliver this time so I genuinely think she'll be fine. Obviously nothing as massive as her career beginnings since the 'new/shock' factor just isn't there anymore, but she can definitely have a great era.
