Hardly. Most of the rap that's smashing rn is coming from one hit wonders. Fetty doesn't count since he'll probably stick with his same formula and flop with his next era. Drake is the only rapper doing great and that's because he's established himself well with pop radio. It's basically like the mid 2000s where there were dozens of snap-rap songs becoming hits except you don't have artists like 50 Cent. Em, Kanye, T.I., and Lil Wayne smashing at the as well.
