He discounted last week so he could be #1 on Billboard 200. HDD themselves said he would've been #2 if he didn't discount. So that discount was done to block Red Hot Chili Peppers and get him 8 consecutive weeks #1.
The discount today is because Maxwell and Blink 182 have new albums out and to make sure he gets a 10th week #1.
None of it has anything to do with Lemonade. Why would he care about outselling an album he's ahead of in SPS by 2:1.
