Yeah, those are only the sales of the main AKB48 group though. There are side groups like SKB48.

I low-key don't acknowledge them as a girl group tbh, but I just include them because people would complain otherwise.

Mmm I think they might be. Do they have impact? Because 2NE1 have impact and that credibility type of thing right. Even though CL doesn't have a good solo career I feel like she's done a lot for their representation on a WW scale.

If y'all (who know way more than me about this) say that Girls Generation can rival them in this aspect then I would agree they're the biggest. As someone else pointed out I know they have lower sales (also less music though).

For example, 2NE1's 2nd most viewed music video on YouTube has the same amount of views as SNSD's 10th highest.
