Good. I hope they are lyrically at a better place than they were while working on Nicole's Big Fat Lie which they co-wrote and produced basically as a whole. They better serve her an Umbrella or Single Ladies

The-Dream and Tricky haven't had a hit in YEARS, together or by themselves, so I'm skeptical.

But their work on Nicole's ill fated Big Fat Lie album was great and could really fit Tinashe tbh



And they can do pop songs as well. Their most recent one was also with Nicole, "Your Love" and it was kind of a smash waiting to happen

Yeah, I think that the person is a friend of a lot of producers/songwriters, because they always have the tea on songwriting credits.

We knew that Tee was working on something with The-Dream because he posted a snap with her recently, but Tricky is a exciting surprise. And she got Timbaland for the album too, so I guess she's aiming for a solid R&B sound now.

Some notable songs they did after Touch My Body include Rih's "Hard", Bey's "Single Ladies" and Cici's "Ride". They were killing it up until 2010. Tricky was cursed by Bionic, most probably. What a historic album

But anyway, they made some real gems throughout the 2000's, so I'm kind of perched tbh. This might be their comeback, as well as Tinashe's

mm I forgot about "Hard." I also feel like they may have done a bonus track on Rih's 'Talk That Talk' that I like... but that may have just been The-Dream. anyway, I'm still excited for new Tinashe.

Yeah I don't think it was ever Max directly but we thought someone on his team was qualification enough I guess!

Yep, that's just The-Dream. He's very well connected with the Bey/Jay/Kanye/Rih gang and he still produces for them and some artists they're associated with, but the songs he makes are usually album tracks.

He completely KILLED it on Beyonce's "4" album though. Wheeew, he went all the way. He did a lot on Unapologetic too, like Phresh Off The Runway, Right Now, Nobody's Business and Love Without Tragedy. He's top notch. He just hasn't been lucky as far as HITS are concerned in a loooooooooong time

Max Martin and it's team are overrated as hell though. Yeah Max has produced some pop classics, but I feel the last years his work has been very so-so and very generic compared to some of past stuff.

I hope its not another Player meaning that its another out of date sounding 2000s song. She better be coming out swinging harder with this one.

I wish she'd released something with Timboland. She should have her own YISI or more modern OIAM although OIAM always sounds up to date. Such a classic.

I second this! My other fave needs to stop relying on his played out beats so much.

I hope Player doesn't get included on Joyride however I have a feeling it will. It's kind of aged a bit bad but the dark, nighttime production saves it.
