Jon led them to a defeat, Jon is a bastard, he's not a Stark of Winterfell.
Sansa was born in Winterfell, she's a Stark, trueborn, and she saved them, all of them in the war.
Why would they declare for him when she's right there? Seems extremely mysoginistic to me.
It seems like some of you completely missed the dialogue in the season finale.
All the houses that refused to support Jon in his time of need, Manderlay, Glover, etc. They all asked for forgiveness in the finale. It wasn't Jon's fault he had such a small host. He did the best he could with what he had. No one else was offering him any suggestions or help, not even Sansa who knew about The Vale. He asked her, literally looked at her and waited for her reply and she said "I don't know!". He was on his own.
Sansa did save him, but she could have very easily told him and he wouldn't have had to sacrifice so many men and he'd have probably made a different play.
Also, the North only follows those that can command armies it seems. "The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword". Sansa can't command an army, she can't swing a sword, she has no idea about battle strategy. Jon does.
She wouldn't make a very good leader anyway, because she has no goals beyond securing her safety and her seat. She's not like Dany or Yara. All Sansa learned is how to scheme and lie for her own benefit. Bless her, i'm rooting for her, but she's not the leader the North needs. Not right now anyway, maybe when she's older.
Yeah, plus Arya killed Freys so it was laughable when that little gurl kept talking about Jon and the Red Wedding when his sisters did all the dirty work.
I stan for Lady Mormont but yeah the Red Wedding part
Tyrion (Tywin Lannister), Ramsey (Roose Bolton) and Arya (Walder Frey) avenged the Red Wedding.

Yeah, I'm all for Badass women but I feel people are trying too har to discredit Jon in favor of Sansa.
Can't wait for the epic battle that is about to unfold between Euron and Daeny on the sea.
Can't wait for Melissandre waiting for Daenerys and seeing the true promised one.
Can't wait for Daeny and Jon to meet, marry, and make love before even knowing that they are cousins.
Can't wait for Cersei's face when she sees the dragons and Tyrion next to Daeny.

I am sorta living for all the meltdowns over Margaery Didn't realize how popular she was. I never felt much for her. She was always a pretender and never a real threat

I agree on everything. As for "she wouldn't make a very good leader", let's not kid ourselves, she was never put in a position of leadership so we'll never really know until she's in it. At least we got a glimpse with Jon and it's not glorious, and looking at the track record of Robb, it's not looking good for the other honorable Stark brother. He needs to learn the lesson and hopefully faster than Robb.
Storytelling wise Jon as King is perfect, it's serves the big picture and could lead to fascinating plots. We already have two Queen, a third one is too much.

Yeah, it's not. He loses a lot, but that's because he's never had anybody's full support.
Robb's mistake was following his heart instead of his duties. Jon is the opposite, so it might not play out the same way.
Lets talk about how Marg could have escaped that place but the writers deiced to kill her off IDK why
7:06 you can see another way on the left side, she could have gone that way and turned right to the door and left with people or sneaked her way through them like how did those 3 people got out of there??
If she left that hall at that moment she would be alive!

and in the second
No, the fire totaled the entire building and its surroundings including innocent people. She couldn't have made it out of there in time.

Her escaping the Great Sept wouldn't have ensured her survival. Even Cersei felt the weakest ripples from the explosion. The explosion injured and killed many outside of the Great Sept too.
