It
won't be Boris Johnson guys. I won tons of money betting on Corbyn when he was an outsider, I AM a political oracle (okay I didn't predict us leaving shh) - But trust me, the Tory MPs will not let Boris win the leadership contest after his campaign. Cameron and Osborne will not allow it, and even though they're on their way out, MPs still respect them.
Okay, but basically, this is how it will work:
The Conservative Party MPs are overwhelmingly in the Remain camp. They're going to want a Prime Minister that pledges to negotiate something like a Norweigan deal, and keep us in the free market. (which will piss SO many people off who voted Remain off), but a General Election will be called in order to get a mandate for the Norweigan deal, which the Conservatives (and the new leader) will win - because turnout will be lower from areas like Sunderland, and the Labour Party is a mess with Corbyn (who isn't going anywhere).
Boris Johnson himself has moved his position in the last 24 hours, because he knows right now he won't get the support from the MPs which he desperately needs. But his shift in position won't be enough. He's someone who came out in support of Leave because of his political ambition, and, his influence probably made the difference in the vote. They're not going to give him they're support.
The final two candidates put forward to members to vote on will be candidates who will negotiate a Norway type deal and didn't say much throughout the campaign. It will be Theresa May and someone else - possibly Stephen Crabb. After that, they'll call a General Election and get a very large mandate to lead and, more importantly, for the deal they've negotiated. Corbyn might then step down.
