Sunday night’s audience probably got a boost from following BBC2’s coverage of Glastonbury, which had 2.4 million viewers from 6.30pm.

Just to clarify, it wasn't Coldplay that had the highest overall audience, it was Jeff Lynne’s ELO (2.4), coldplay had the same ratings as Adele (2 million) but she had the highest peak (3.7 as opposed to 3.4)

It's annoying how they find one tweet with someone complaining about something and then act as if it was the uniform opinion. Like 0.5% of tweets were probably complaining about her swearing and yet they headline "viewers outraged".

Legend just performed to 160000 people, but America and its conservative nature felt the need to focus on her swearing Are women not supposed to curse or something ?? or is it something exclusive to old rockstars?? Besides it's an open festival, not like performing to the queen of England. Ugh ....... people are easily outraged.

EDIT: I can't believe most of the media also focused on her "Relatable xD just like us" burping instead of the epic SLY performance.

Well its not just America as we see Dailymail decided to focus on it as well. They can seethe, no one really cares that much about swearing anyways, especially if its not targeting someone in a vehement manner

Yeah i know, well just seeing some of the responses in there is kind of irritating. I don't want the concert to be overshadowed by this irrelevant controversy.
