Or maybe she has been resurrected for some time now, it's just that the season didn't show it. I imagine her body stops decomposing once she is revived.
Anyways it's very clear we are going to see something with the Brotherhood without Banners, a group that Thoros is associated with and the group Lady Stoneheart was allegedly working with in the books. It's also the group the Hound is now with and his story line isn't over yet.
It might not make sense anymore to bring Lady Stoneheart into the picture solely to kill off the Freys but GRRM may have written other purposes for her that haven't been touched yet.
