I stan Taeyeon for her musicality for than anything. I've stanned for her because I've loved her OSTs, her singing ability, and since 2015, her solo music. I'm one of the rare stans who actually likes her ballads more than her generic pop music I guess. Stress is my least played song from her mini album.

If her future in music is going to stray from where she excels and enter a lane of recycled EDM stolen from popular producers elsewhere then why would I stan? Her album is infested with LDN noise and I'm not here for it.

I hate Stress too and love her ballads, but I'm willing to give her new direction a chance if it's what she likes and wants to try out (she has said she wants to try out new things) and she seems enthusiastic about it promoting it on her social media. I'm sure her vocals will be front and center as usual.

I just don't get the celebrating her (or anyone's) underperformance (when you were stanning Starlight when it was released and hit #1, before it started dropping )and hoping for floppage even if you were just a casual fan

I guess I'm just over the whole doom and gloom regarding the whole EDM thing
