But you know what ? Let's roll with it. According to Beyoncé's receipt thread, she has sold 34,5m album and 123M singles (which in Beyoncé math magically equals to 164M records but I digress). As you can see, most of Beyoncé sales are coming from singles, just like Rihanna.

I did a breakdown, and it seemed to me it was before 2007, nearly 10 years ago. How are you still gonna claim Britney's bigger than Beyoncé, then?

You can also breakdown since how many years Beyoncé has been outselling Mariah and Madonna. That wouldn't make her bigger. Plus if album sales are the most important thing, Britney has sold more than double the amount Beyoncé has sold. And when you look at how much records she sold, Britney is almost perfectly split between singles and albums. Which is not particularly the case for Beyoncé, and I'm using the criteria you chose.

Well, that's not the case for everyone you know. Some artist achieve to split their sales between albums and singles, Britney and Adele for example. It's just kinda funny you're dismissing Rihanna achievement saying records don't mean ****, and then brag about the fact that Beyoncé sold more albums. It just doesn't add up. Indie urban acts usually don't sell as much as pure pop acts. What matters is that she's leveraged her position as an indie urban act to become the biggest female artist of our time.
