This happens to me all the time Some matches im just killing it, then the next I can barely manage a few kills.

I think I've just gotten use to certain characters for different objectives.

Maybe the hero you chose was countered by most of the heroes?
For example, I do amazing as Winston when there's a tracer/genji/symmetra/lucio/mei/dva but when they have heroes like reaper/soldier//mccree/roadhog/mercy/junkrat I get melted and I switch heroes.

Winston is a counter to Mei? I've only had a total of 11 hours played but every time I played with Mei I've never died, ever, against Winston (and I normally wreck his ass lol). He does okay to escape but not so much to attack me well.

Ugh Mercy is awful, like really bad for your KD ratio. I just want to cry with her because all you do is heal and revive, you literally get 0 kills almost every match (well I average 0.65 so it's a little more than that). I only ever pick her if the other support is Zenyatta (because he's terrible as the only support) and I need to save the team.

He's not a counter really but with his jet jump he won't let Mei freeze him. Sort of like tracer with her blinking, I guess?

We completely denied bunch of torbjorns with 2 Zarya's exchanging barriers and we won on attack in volskaya industries under 1:30 minutes

If you have a good team that actually knows how to defend support it cuts down on the deaths a lot and if you're smart about it you can get in a couple kills here and there taking off people with low health, you can easily take out other mercys if you take em by surprise and you have a chance with tracer if you manuveur yourself properly but then again when you're playing support you can't expect to be fighting a great deal but a good support player can help an otherwise average team be less ****

I am so done with the multiple Torbjorn meta. It actually makes certain maps so boring and predictable I am really looking forward to competitive mode even if it is harder.
