And older people keep complaining about our generation
they conveniently forget that house prices for them were around 2-3x the working wage (it's well over 10x for us), they didn't have to pay for higher education, they could retire in their early 60's and have access to a good pension fund - then they dare to call us the 'entitled generation'.
what exactly is the reason behind this? What are the supposed benefits from leaving EU?
It won because of racism essentially.
We have more control outside of the EU (borders and laws) which is a good thing to an extent but for me (and the majority of people who aren't racist twats) the benefits of staying outweigh the benefits of leaving.
The problem is the culpability of the media. There is absolutely no quality control over mass media and people are easily persuaded by hashtag friendly misinformation.
All the leave voters backtracking nnn.
Scottland is not having it and I suspect N-Ireland which is actually bordering a EU country is willing to stay in the EU as well
This wasn't down to Cameron.
I hate him but i'm not gonna blame him for this.
This is due to the right-wing using immigrants as scapegoats for all our problems for ages and in recent years blaming it on Brussels. The out of touch Conservatives masquerading as Labour MPs didn't help either.
If only they'd waited another 5 years or so for some more old people to die and be replaced by younger people
If pensioners are allowed to vote then under 18s should be allowed to vote too, it's ridiculous
I bet a lot of people voted leave just to annoy David Cameron. If a less hated PM had been in charge this wouldn't have happened.
