A Depression like thing isn't likely. The 2008 Recession was close but we have social nets to stop something so damaging.

I'm not even saying it's likely, I'm saying that we can't just say "the economy will rebound" and expect things to be fine and dandy.
This will have lasting economic and political effects on the whole world and we need to be prepared for potential market crashes and some rough times, and we need to be prepared for the possibility that it will be worse than projected.
