UK has Beyoncé status in the EU already; they've been catered to since the start.
They're not in the Eurozone so the value of their currency is not harmed by what goes on in Greece and Spain... They do not have to offer the same benefits to immigrants as they do Brits... Sure they pay billions in membership fees, but they also get a whole lot out of the EU due to the single/internal market.
Go at it alone, just when regional integration is becoming very popular.
Over a decade or so.. We'll have the European Union, the United States, Putin's new order, the Asian countries with ASEAN, the African Union and then... Little Brittain.
