Why wouldn't the U.S. be ready for a two-woman ticket? Clinton doesn't need a White male to win in November when the Republicans have essentially shot themselves in the foot by choosing Trump. White men are basically the only demographic Trump has any strength whatsoever in and that appears to be dwindling too. There's never been an election in my memory where it was more appropriate to make the bold move and go for a two-woman ticket.
This is old, but I'm just finding this September 2015 poll in Texas for Trump/Clinton. Among registered voters, Clinton was ahead of Trump 38% to 33%. Among likely voters, Trump was ahead of Clinton 39% to 37%.
And the majority of people taking this poll were middle class, college educated white Christians aged 30-60.
I think you're delusional if you think picking Warren will keep Clinton out of the White House. Show me a shred of evidence that anyone currently inclined to vote for Clinton would change their minds if she chose another female on the ticket and then we can talk. I don't think people who actually vote are as daft as some of you believe.
Two white women on one ticket is literally throwing away the election.
If you can't see this you're just delusional, sorry.
Give me a good argument? I think if someone isn't wanting to vote for a dual-woman ticket, then they're likely not going to vote for a ticket with a woman on top.

Sis, it has taken this long to get a female presidential candidate for a major party. Let's be realistic instead of acting like the majority of voters are progressive Tumblr users.
Hillary would be better off with a broader appeal.
If there was ever an election to break away from the norm, it would be this one. She's winning regardless.
Picking Elizabeth would excite the grassroots and help the party in future elections. No one cares about a basic white male to add 1-2 percentage point to her win.

This, Hillary will benefit more from Warren's large following and her ability to appeal to the progressive left more so than she will by collecting a few white male stragglers that she would get from a safe white male candidate.
Regardless of the gender of the VP choice, Clinton might actually do more harm to her campaign than good by choosing another person who is seen as a moderate Establishment figure. One of the only things that can harm her in this election is extreme apathy from voters on the left.
I'll support who no matter who she picks as VP and hopefully others will too. I think the argument that two women being on the same ticket will cause her to lose is ridiculous.
