Lady GaGa is different from BEP. BEP are digital monsters and their next single is gonna be huge no matter what. And Bad Romance is still holding up really well.

Lady GaGa is not a bigger digital monster than BEP, that's just delusional. And her huge singles she was promoting nonstop and she hasn't even performed Telephone once. I don't get why you expect it to shoot up to top ten with zero promo.

As well as Bad Romance stealing the attention away from Telephone (higher on airplay as well as having an amazing video still being talked about), then 100k+ people are getting Telephone through the albums each week, meaning less and less potential buyers every week.

Yet to peak at radio

BEP and even ke$ha shot up to the top 10 with zero promotion with new singles and considering lady gaga is bigger than both of them atm and given how much of a big deal this single is hyped up out to be with the two "top" females , why wouldn't you expect it to shoot up into the top 10 ?

i'm sorry but there really isnt any excuse or defense for its performance thus far .

Well I don't know the numbers for those singles but I remember "I Gotta Feeling" was #1 on iTunes for three months straight and I think it holds a record for longest running #1. And Ke$ha's single was her breakout.
