I felt like she had a lot of momentum going with the era, and the video killed any momentum, as there's not much going on in it. Even the performances of this song haven't done
anything for her.
See: Fifth Harmony's Work From Home. The song likely would not have been as massive (it would still have been a big song) without an eye catching, replay worthy video.
I'm sorry, but Into You's video has zero replay value. I have played her new album nearly every day since it came out, but I don't ever see myself re-playing the video again.
Let's also not compare this era to My Everything. Ariana is managing herself this time, while Scooter Braun managed her last time. Definitely cannot be compared, as Scooter gets his artists EVERYWHERE. Ariana seems to be struggling managing and promoting herself.
