I fell into asleep like 10 minutes before the episode started, just woke up and finished it now

 This episode

Night and ****ing DAY compared to last episode, which also had plenty of action, but was executed all wrong. Coincidentally this is one of my two favorite action sequence TV episodes ever, the other being The Walking Dead S6 Ep 9...
That battle was flawless, and having Goddess Sansa being the reason they ultimately won (as opposed to just dying putting a dent in Bolton's men)

I'm sure her haters will STILL claim that she did nothing (

), even tho without her taking a chance Jon & Davos would be hanging upside down being someone's lab project right now, and Sansa (and Mel probably) would be getting raped and brutalized.
Hell, even the Dany segments were GREAT, and I haven't even been feeling her like that recently. The only slight complaint I have is they should have showed more tension when she was mounting/riding the dragons, like, does no one in Meereen have a bow & arrow? That being said, this goes to show that directors make all the difference, this looks like a completely different show between Ep 8 & Ep 9. I also loved her ***Feminist moment with Yara
Next episode can have some action, but I think shows do better when they take turns with action & story, so it should definitely be slow and set up BIG things for S7. And I REALLY don't want to have to wait until S7 to get some closure on how Jon and Sansa settle in to Winterfell, how the people receive them, and who is officially the Lord/Lady of Winterfell (bastard, or woman?) I love Jon, but I do hope it's Sansa.
I just love how she's learned to play the game, from potentially saving Littlefinger in S4, some things in S5, and her Emancipation era in S6. Literally without her Jon would still be moping around the wall, or at best becoming a pincushion in this episode. Even the little things like (unfortunately) her already coming to terms with Rickon's death & the ending scene with Ramsay really drive home what a cold player she's becoming.
Poor Rickon tho, but I think the majority of the fandom made their peace with the fact that there was no way we'd get him back alive

I'm also wary of LF, at best he's getting a strong alliance out of this, and at worst he's an opportunist who now knows that no matter what, the army of Winterfell is SEVERELY weakened... The latter sounds a lot more likely. Sansa has to end him.
