Tonight's episode was basically how Aegon the Conqueror conquered the Seven Kingdoms. He and his sisters burned those who refused to swear fealty from above as his army fought down below. Why wouldn't Dany use her dragons to her advantage? Besides she doesn't depend on anybody. She does what she wants. She's not Sansa.

You can see the difference in growing up in the North and growing up in King's Landing between Jon and Sansa. They all would have died if she hadn't been sort of duplicitous - none of the other Starks would've ever done that

She's clearly not. Sansa's only getting smarter and her character growth is impressive while Dany can't make a move without someone advising her what to do and they're clearly foreshadowing her going nuts and burning everything. Queen Sansa won't let her, though.

The entire point of Sansa's storyline the first two books is the fact that she has skills no one else in her family has to survive the actual life in court, and play the politics of the Game of Thrones.

Starks can rule, and they can fight, but they would all die in the Iron Throne.

Except for Sansa.
