Also it seems like a no-brainer that she would perform at the VMAs this year since it's being held in NYC, but... you never know. Sigh. It would be amazing though, and the fact that it would mirror ARTPOP's promo doesn't mean anything in terms of how successful the strategy would be. Her career is on a different point now, and I think she's very missed as a popstar. I could be biased though, but I've seen a couple of people here and there ask themselves where she is, online and irl.

Applause's original release pattern was perfect though. The simultaneous single/video release drop (which that leak ****ed up) was smart since most pull that release nowadays to ensure high debuts. Then the song got the KIA commercial promotion and VMAs performance, which is what cemented the song from turning into a hit. Excited to see the stops Bobby will pull out in terms of promotion and planning.


The bitch is New York ambassador for entertainment for the next year, they better force her to perform at VMAs in NYC in the same arena young Stefani dreamed of headlining and has since did countless times.

The VMAs aren't in early August, they're on August 28. Tony's birthday is on August 3 aka the time they want to release their new album. But I wouldn't count on it. My bet is that it will be delayed. Remember CTC? It was supposed to come out Jan 2013, then March 2014, then finally Sept 2014. They won't even promote the album and its probably already recorded so it won't take time out of Gaga's schedule. Gaga knows her solo work is more important at this point, trust me.

I agree. It's likely radio will still support her and sales will be strong for what they are nowadays, but she needs help in the streaming department. Partnering with Apple Music or doing some sort of tie in would be brilliant. I have no doubt Bobby could arrange that
