I get where you're coming from but I think it helps with their overall appeal. Aside from Twice, OMG is the group where you can easily differentiate the members from each other.
My problem with OMG is that they do not have a definitive center. I love hpw they change it up everytime but I think at this point in their careers they really need a stable center. I know Jiho is the main girl but it got confusing with the constant push given to YooA especially during the Closer era.
They either need to continue pushing Jiho as center as with what they're doing this year. But Binnie can be center too and she seems to have good reception from the public being a former YG girl, identifiable look and great personality.
