I feel like people are trying to digest Heartbreak Hotel in a way that goes against the type of song it is. You can't expect it to be a song that pops with a bang, it's written to be a slow sizzle. Both of Tiffany's songs are like that, I don't think they'd work with a different vocalist like Taeyeon, Luna, etc.
