I've been to many a concerts in my lifetime, many of which had bigger stages, shows etc. but this was entirely something else. The connection the guys had on stage was magic. Adam's voice was impeccable. Brian May and Roger Taylor were just... Brian May and Roger Taylor. Unbelievable.
I've known and loved most of their songs already, yet seeing them live made me understand how crappy current music actually is in comparison.
Who Wants to Live Forever is such a magical song, and the live performance was so freaking amazing, I can't get over it.
Bohemian Rhapsody, though, it was just insane. Freddie sang alongside Adam, and the moment the song ended, the energy of the audience was so intense, I had never felt anything like that... You might think I'm being dramatic, but nope, it was just incredible. I don't even know how to define it. It was just so intense and beautiful.
Last two points: I loved how the first thing Adam pointed out was that there would only be one Freddy, and he was there not to imitate but to celebrate him, with us. I could see him gaining the audience's respect with these words.
I also found out that Brian May has graduated and got a PhD from my uni (Imperial College London, one of the best in the world, I might have failed my course) so I feel even more blown away by him. Talented songwriter, singer, guitarist, and a scientist. What a man.

I remember you telling us your plans for this! Glad you had a good time! Did they play Don't Stop Me Now?
