You do realize its not that easy and doesn't go this way? I have a lot of bras that are reallyyyyy expensive and fit me, but after a while it just hurts and uncomfortable. Plus that girl has large breasts, so that makes it almost and impossible to find one

How u telling anyone to chill when u literally said women only care about themselves as a response to us defending this high school girl showing a damn NIPPLE. And now you're claiming girls don't deserve to get educated if they don't want to wear a bra. !!!!!

So you're saying women don't wear bras, because they're selfish?

Okay, points I want to point out from the comments I've seen in this thread:
1. So, the young lady doesn't understand that she is growing right now and that bras, when correctly sized, can be effective in her natural growth. That being said, she has every right on whether she wants to wear a bra or not, if the dress code does not adhere to it. What people wear underneath their clothes should not matter.
2. There is no need for the sexism of protecting a woman's figure because it will arouse the opposite (or even same) sex. If the young men of these schools were being properly taught to treat a woman, no matter the age, with respect and dignity and to focus on their education, we wouldn't be having this discussion (or more-or-less, argument). We've created this facsimile that our society creates these children, but if we don't adhere to change, that's going to be the hard truth for the entire time we're on this Earth. We make the society; what we do affects the young minds, and we're going to have to stop bitching about problems and start working on solutions.
3. TBH, girl should wear a bra solely so her breasts don't sag to her knees by the time she's 50. Bras are suppose to be helpful tools to support your breasts, not uncomfortable constrictors tightening your chest. I mean, think of the guys who wear cups for sports or in general; it's not just a white bowl for your yingyang, it's going to protect and adjust your groin. Hopefully, this doesn't deter her from wearing a bra ever again… Given her response, I don't believe it will, 'cause it shouldn't.
4. TL;DR She should wear a bra solely for keeping her breasts supported and to prevent back injuries in the future, and school boys should be taught to focus on their education, not a woman's anatomy…

Legs were at one time sexualized and women weren't able to show those either but we moved past them just like we are moving past breasts being such a big deal. You're purely victim blaming and placing the responsibility and blame of men raping/assaulting women on women. You act like only scantily clad women get raped when reports prove that its not true and its mostly done by someone you know. When reports show that it doesn't matter what you wear and a woman could wear a f*cking niqab, covered from head to toe and still get raped. She was not exposing her chest, she was covered so you have no argument here. No one is mad at men for being turned on but it doesnt give them the excuse to stare or abuse or be rude. They have control and are accountable for those actions, not the woman wearing what she chooses. Just like a robber is held accountable for robbing a person in the middle of the night. This was an extremely ignorant post.

Why? Are you now putting expectations of what a woman should do on to me? But in the same breath, getting upset because a school expects women to wear a bra?
Interesting how this works.

I don't see the big deal in wearing bras, imo they're not uncomfortable and I actually feel weird when I don't wear one but as someone said before it's not like this for everyone. If someone doesn't want to wear a bra they shouldn't have to. They're all there to get an education what people wear shouldn't matter. - if a boob, stomach, etc is shown this shouldn't eve distract someone from learning.

My point is, this "breasts shouldn't be sexualized" crap is so played out. I'm sorry. It's like, a lot of **** shouldn't happen, but welcome to 2015 where double standards exists.. For MEN and WOMEN. It's just how life works. Don't walk around wearing a chip on your shoulder because of it.
If you've been wearing bra's majority of your life, don't complain about it now because it's not going to do anything. Lol. People will always be attracted to breasts, and women will continue to be sexualized because of it. Its life.

I mean I get where you're coming from but at the same time not everyone has to be okay with it.

I find the dress code's in most school's very, very sexist
If a guy's nipple was showing, no one would care.
If a guy's shoulders were showing, no one would care.
How come when girls show these body parts, they are sent home? The sexism is real

Interesting... so breasts being out isn't the problem here. Because if it was then men should be required to wear one too. The problem is she's a WOMAN who is being sexualized and boys are uncomfortable so women have to cater to these boys who apparently cant control themselves. Hmmm...

Not you victim blaming
Obviously the fault would be the rapist's, and not because her nipples showed

The ones who say "its distracting" clearly never have seen a braless girl, nobody cares in reality and this is just an excuse. I don't have that large boobs but bras hurt me after a few hours, and I pay a lot of money on it and if I decide to go out without it nobody has the right to say anything about it

Thank you Right back at ya
