This litterally changes every year.
As for now? I'm not really sure. Pop music is dead right now

And anyone who's released something this year hasn't even come anywhere close to warranting a fav. Except Christina Grimmie's Side A, which was incredible. If Zara Larsson has a good debut album (U.S.), she could become a fav. I'd say Alan Walker, but 2 singles doesn't warrant "fav" and he probably won't be relevant next year sadly.
I like people like Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, etc. But all of their recent albums are disappointments to me, and they have to record a great album for me to call them a fav.
With Selena, For You is by far her best album, her solo work is good, but not at that same level to me.
Demi's very talented, Demi's amazing, Confident's a bit of a let down.
Ariana, My Everything was amazing, Dangerous Woman was a let down.
Meghan Trainor, Thank You's ok, but not what they hyped it up to be, nice to see her out of her do-wops though which I never liked.
Katy Perry, Teenage Dream was incredible, then we got Prism, which was a big letdown.
I liked Lady Gaga's Artpop more then Born This Way, but it had lots of lows on it, and only half of it was really good, The Fame Monster is still by far the best she's ever done.
As for One Direction, they spilt up.

I will stan for Harry Styles's solo career though, but his album needs to perform better then the flop that was Mind Of Mine. Pillowtalk was good though.
As for Bruno Mars, I love his music, but absolutely hate UpTown Funk, so idk what to expect on this next album.
I used to love Justin Beiber in 2010, but everything afterwards didn't really interest me. Sorry and Love Yourself are just boring and overrated to me.
Justin Timberlake has a few good songs, but I find his full length albums to be uninteresting.
Kelly Clarkson released a really good album recently, and that suprised me, she's pretty underrated.
P!nk, I used to like her, but Just Like Fire isn't good to me and the last P!nk song I loved was Perfect.
Jason Derulo, I used to like him until Talk Dirty, and that basically ruined him for me.
And Adele, well she's Adele. 21 was great, but everyone knows that, 25's good but not on the same level of 21.
Fifth Haromy had Miss Movin On, everything after that was a disappoint.
Calvin Harris and David Guetta are taking this weird direction and I'm not here for it.
I like Taylor Swift, but 1989 hasn't aged well on me at all and it all sounds so dated now. Plus I miss her Fearless and Speak Now eras.
Nick Jonas is ok, a few good songs.
Sia's good, but I still think Wild Ones and Titanium are the best songs she's ever done. Cheap Thrills and Chandelier are pretty good though.
And I'm missing a ton of artists here, so...
Ok, wow, this was a long post. Did I really just write all of this?
