Ok but i can't @ all the early route pokemon getting such good abilities & then the poor dog getting 2 useless ones.
well, this still doesn't include Hidden Abilities so it could easily get a great HA. Also we don't know if it'll stay those abilities when it evolves

And yeah, I think that pretty much confirms it'll get Bullet Seed, which is nice, especially for Rock types early on like Iwanko + the fact that people won't probably use both Rowlet and Pikipek on the same team.
Bullet Seed is a necessity but it wouldn't be the first time Pokemon didn't get moves the Pokedex suggested they could use.
And you're right. It's a shame coz they're my two faves and IDK if I'll use Rowlet now coz Pikipek is slaying me
I don't hate any design so far, except for the box legends (though Solgaleo's other form mitigates this).
Rowlet, Iwanko and Grubbin are my faves.
And @Magickarp They could still change the abilities for his evolved forms as that has happened many times already. Grubbin's is also **** and I don't expect it to keep it as it evolves either.

But i think we've only seen like 1/8th of the new pokemon & i'm already abt to have a full team
