Huh? Janet was huge here in Africa throughout the 80s to the mid 00s. In places where I didn't think she was known (Benin, Togo, Zambia), she was well known and respected.

I live in Namibia. That's in Africa, btw. And she's one of the most popular artists here. Along with Whitney and Beyoncé. Her music is in constant rotation. Maybe your country just doesn't know good music?
