Anyway, I feel like in the midst of everything that's happened recently that Born This Way (the album) feels just as important today as it did when it was released 5 years ago.

Gaga touches on themes that are now even more important. Hair strikes me as an important that stands out, the lyrics of wanting to be loved for who are you resonate with me after these attacks, then we've got Americano and of course Born This Way as other important song. There's a lot more I could say about it but I'm finding it hard to articulate my thoughts into words

Born This Way is my by no means my favourite Gaga album, but the importance of the album, even for me, is somewhat astounding. A modern day movement for the LGBT community, no matter what certain haters say. It's important.

in the ballot she is listed under:

"Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Series Or Movie" so yeah it's separate but still lead actress.

Gaga doesn't get the credit that she deserves. She's been fighting for marriage equality and LGBT rights since the beginning of her career. During her peak, she released Born This Way, an album dedicated to the LGBT. She did this all publicly before it became "mainstream" and "cool" to show your tolerance and acceptance of the LGBT. There is no one like her in this generation and she is truly a social activist. She is willing to stand out there with all of us as equals to fight against prejudice and injustice. Im so proud of this woman.
