The whole Christina tragedy got me to thinking about how crazy and sick people are. If someone as kind and noncontroversial as Christina had someone who wanted her dead enough that they would shoot her, just imagine how many sick conservatives or Beyoncé-haters are out for blood. I always had a fear of her getting attacked on stage. I am really glad she is taming her fame. Yeah, me and Bey Admired were talking about this a couple of weeks ago in here. How this is constantly in the back of our minds... Ever since the Halftime Show and the tour being announced right after it, it's been a recurring thought. Because there are so many sick and bad people out there, if it was something someone set out to do, it wouldn't be all that hard. I'm no conspiracy theorist, and I'm far from paranoid. I just tend to think of the most things negatively. I don't like to dwell on it. I can handle it being in my mind bc I'm used to it, but it's not something I like to speak about often with people because it's scary and there's nothing good that comes out of it you know?

Okay so Australia is staning so hard for Bey this era. This weekend we got a public holiday for the 'Queens birthday' as in the Queen of England. Anyway because of this 4 different clubs had events for Queen Bey this weekend to celebrate. I attended 3 of them and they were all amazing. The line up took 3 and a half hours which is crazy long for Adelaide as it is a relatively small city. It's amazing how many people came, apparently it was their biggest night in years (bey ha impact). Anyway the highlight of the night was definitely Irreplaceable. I've never experienced anything like it. EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. In the club was screaming the Lyrics, it was literally like being at a show. All the bartenders were so shocked their faces were priceless. They played so many of her hits, even some of her unreleased IASF and B'Day tracks which shocked me. Everyone knew all the words to Hold Up, Freedom and Formation which is good to see. Due to popular demand they are going to host repeat Lemonade events and I honestly could not be happier. It's nice to go out and hear Bey songs which aren't just Crazy In Love and the occasional DIL and 7/11. Just thought I'd share.

On that note this bitch better come to Australia, I now have no doubt that she would be able to easily sell out at least one stadium date in each major city. Even Perth and Adelaide. Her songs are on the radio way more than they were during ST era. Bey came to slay bitch.

i was just listening to DIL album last evening...altho she has made better albums since then...i still think its a solid debut effort

the album was really a more mature departure from DC...she really set her independence....DC was not singing risque songs like the aforementioned. even sonically...DC did not have songs like CIL or Baby Boy..

i'm not crazy about Haunted....i have to be in a particular mood to listen to that song...i like it as an addition to her discography b/c it shows her being experimental. but its not really my type of song. i do like "Ghost" lyrically & it was definitely surprising to hear Beyonce address the music industry

i usually start the album at Drunk In Love...unless i feel like listening to "Pretty Hurts"

after listening to ST over the weekend....while i love LEM & i may like it more than ST...just like i also loved 4 over ST. i think ST will still have to stand as her magnum opus. it just had too much of an impact.
