True. I guess I would put the symphony style tracks such as Stonemilker and Lionsong closer to Vespertine, while the angry techno songs could be placed in the 'hardcore fan' section. Unfortunately I haven't listened to Family or the tracks after, so this may not be accurate

I would call you out for having just basic taste and move on but your taste is actually good so I blame It on you not trying hard enough. Especially with M.I.A. She is such a bad bitch. Start with Matangi and then go back to Arular and Kala.
MAYA is the hardest to get into even though you could check out XXXO in between cause It's the definition of a bop.
With Björk It's mostly the case of love her or hate her. I'm a fan ever since but you need to take your time and sometimes It can be exhausting. Timing is also a big factor.
Try Volta. A lot of fans don't like It but It got the bops too. Innocence and Earth Intruders are kinda basic but listen and you'll get what I mean
