Which is incredibly unfortunate. People lashed out hard on Usher for making pop records and when he did come back with R&B, they weren't checking for him. Some may say he was hopping on trends, but at the same time, its not like he personally never made records like that in the past either.
There's no winning with people, but at the end of the day, both artists appear to be at the twilight of their careers. It's astonishing that even a Champion's League final performance couldn't give Alicia the boost she needed.
They were suppose to be one of the people who could possibly dethrone Drake in June/July.
