Okay welcome back. We just fired two other people from this competition. Participation is important. So lets get down to business. The team in second will be revealed down below.
Team Mafia you guys are once again, safe this week from elimination. You guys did a REALLY great job with everything, and were like .5 away from winning this week, but Team Town edged just a little bit above you guys. Congratulations though!

Team Chaos, from an amazing victory last week to a loss this week. You guys are sadly in the bottom which means DevonDreams you are up for elimination. You decided to bring with you Luke with you. Like always you guys have Twelve hours from now to plea your case as to why you deserve to be here.

But the looks themselves are basic, too. That wedding dress is despicable, and I refuse to believe a woman would choose it of her own free will in this enlightened time we live in.

| This is hard for me, because the only person that deserved to go was Scene. Luke and I have both worked hard..
Why should I stay? Well.. because my personality is winning.. right?
This is the first game I've played in the 2 years I've been here that I have really wanted to play.
I signed up to challenge myself and to enjoy myself... and I've done that so far AND I wanna keep doing that.
I've loved working with my team and I hate to throw anyone under the bus, but we've had a handicap since the beginning and no one besides me stepped up to take those extra responsibilities-- It sucks we got put into this place, but I'm determined to be stay.
give me another chance..
because I am..
Professional, Humble, and ATRL's next apprentice..

I haven't done "nothing." I was the one who got 30+ people to post in the thread about Athena Music Festival. Yes, I did less during this challenge because my role was describing the outfits, and you can't describe the outfits until the people who get the outfits, get them. I started a new job this week and moved across the country for it, but apparently people don't understand that. I tried to help, but by the time I did, Tori Yonce said that people had already done so. I'm sorry I didnt contribute this week, but that doesn't mean I can't/won't in the future.

Nice work Caprice, Satan, and Tori. I know you 3 did a lot of work and I did not contribute as much as I should have this week and I apologise for that.
I will definitely pull more weight next week

Well, to say I'm surprised that I was brought into the boardroom would be a lie. I knew that if we were to lose, I would be brought in. Not because I did the least amount of work or put in the least effort, but because Devon thinks I'm the weakest out of us all - fair enough! However, I believe I deserve to stay. I've been busy with work, but managed to come up with looks for an artist I had no knowledge about fashion wise, I had to rely on Google and the knowledge of Devon. I worked hard on creating what I thought would be a Lana look, what I created was given a pass by the PM. I really think I deserve another chance, I haven't been given the opportunity to show what I'm capable of.
I really want to stay in and help myself grow as this is a very different game to what I've participated in before, and I'm really enjoying this. It sucks as I know Devon also worked his ass off, I was hoping we'd throw Scene under the bus and be done with it.
How **** for myself.

The presentation is well done, of course, and I like the attention to detail you guys always have. My big complaints here are that the looks aren't necessarily fashionable, but, again, it fits your celeb so I think you met the assignment.

Thank you for the kind words and the constructive feedback Citrus! I'm ready for us to stop landing in the middle of the pack. We put a whole lot of work into both challenges and have made sacrifices, but we need to get the right combination of attention to detail and overall impact so we can actually win something for once...

Okay - I want to tell you all that I really appreciated the creativity in the magazine and the online store. It made me think more of your entry. As for the pieces themselves, I'm not too sure. The pink evening dress is a GREAT look and I could see both Kesha and regular people wearing it, however, a lot of these looks are more... just for Kesha. If you make a fashion line inspired by an artist, you don't want the only person wearing it to be the artist. They already have it! You didn't do bad, per se, but you didn't find the fine line between your inspiration and applying it practically.
|
Thank you Hugamari. You made a really great point. We went into this challenge knowing things would need to fit Kesha's brand of being pretty wild, but what we didn't get from the challenge explanation was that it needed to be marketed to the general public. Fashion lines come out all the time that aren't necessarily meant for Becky down the street to own, but I know Kesha would want her fans to be able to wear the looks.

You guys always have a great marketing perspective with your entries. The online store was genius and totally a good call. The prices and everything, it was a really nice touch for your entry and gave it that edge that it needed to really be great. The looks weren’t all that perfect, but they weren’t all that horrible.
|
So we had a mix of great inspiration and mediocrity. We need to get out of the mediocrity space.
As always, thank you for the feedback Drip!

Congratulations Team Town, and C/H/A/N/E/L on your immunity!
Wesley, on the bright side you will be able to focus on the important things fully now. I know balance in life is important, and it sounds like you're working on things that will secure your future outside of just ATRL.

I had hoped our presentation would help us edge out a win, as well as our descriptions for each look in the line, but it seems at this point less is more. Thank you for the insight into what you're looking for and for keeping our team safe (overall) for another round.

This was very well presented and really stands out as a taste of what you bring to the competition. You would be missed if you went anywhere, Devon.

I'm sure once things are more stable with your new job (congrats, btw ), you'll be able to come back and slay next season! I was in the role of describing as well and I stepped up to also create the outfits we needed to make sure we were on track for the deadline. I have a lot going on at work as well, but I made some decisions for the good of the team. I think you're prioritizing the things that are truly important in your offline life right now, and that's admirable and very important!
