Also Scheisse sounds like a LOT of the productions he's made with Porcelain Black (who was never able to successfully release her music under him. Kind of reminds me of how redundant his producing skills are).

applause was a lead single w a motnh of hype. judas was a 2nd single with less hype, released on a religious week. video streams didnt count towards hot 100 then either .

Still more successful than Judas. Even peaking lower than Judas, it had more longevity within the top 20 and sold more. WITHOUT a video.

But Max Martin has yet to see one of his singles sell 7M+, be certified diamond, he didn't even pen Katy's biggest hit and Gaga has won more awards & Grammys than him despite 25 years of working with countless artists. So clearly not that acclaimed. But stay under-estimating everything Lady Gaga has done and achieved in order to praise male producers.
